**This Regional Entry Form is for contestant entries only.  Spectator tickets to Chefs Under Fire events will be sold at a later date.**

Chefs Under Fire™ 2010 is underway and taking on a life of its own, making this culinary competition bigger, better, and even more intense than last year.   We’re taking things on the road, traveling throughout Texas to bring the heat to your city.  With three Regional Competitions hosted in Houston, Austin, and Dallas, Chefs Under Fire contestants will be competing against their peers for a spot in the Finals where he or she could be named Chef Under Fire 2010 by Celebrity Chefs and Iron Chef America contenders Chef David Bull, Chef Tyson Cole, and Chef Kent Rathbun.  The anticipated Regional Event Dates are as follows:

  • September 12, 2010 – Dallas/Fort Worth Area Regional CUF; Location TBA
  • September 27, 2010 – Austin/San Antonio Area Regional CUF; Texas Beef Council, Austin, TX
  • October 4, 2010 – Houston Area Regional CUF; Location TBA
  • October 25, 2010 – CUF Final Competition; AT&T Executive Education & Conference Center, Austin, TX

The Entry Period begins Wednesday, June 2, 2010 at 12:00 AM CST and ends Friday, August 13, 2010 at 11:59 PM CST.  

Entries are open to all Culinary Professionals.  Professional is defined as a person who is paid or has been paid to cook or bake, or is currently enrolled as a culinary student or has obtained a culinary degree.  All entries must be in partnership with a Sponsoring Party, which may be a culinary school, restaurant, bar, caterer, or other food vending establishment.

Entering in Chefs Under Fire is a 2 Step process. First, please fill out all of the required information in this Regional Entry Form along with the non-refundable $25 entry fee.  Upon completion of Step 1, you will receive an email with further instructions for completing Step 2, submitting your Entry Content by simply answering these two questions:

1. If stranded on a deserted island, what single kitchen utensil would you most like to have with you and why?

2. Describe the most challenging or "heated" kitchen experience you have had.

Entries may be submitted by written form or video form.  For more important information about Chefs Under Fire 2010 and how to enter, please refer to the Official Chefs Under Fire 2010 Rules.
